Molly Ivans today in the White-Sox-Town Tribune presented her second installment about how to fix the "Bush mess." She suggests cutting defense spending on stupid ideas like Star Wars, and similar pie-in-the-sky military programs, and using those bucks to educate kids. Great. All for it. I sincerely doubt that a dollar cut from military spending would end up paying a teacher -- too much bureaucracy in between -- but I agree with where her heart is pointing. (I usually do; she's not a bad nut.) I found no moonbat-like statements to make fun of anywhere in this one. Nuts.
